Benjamin McAllister Earns Piedmont College Academic Honor

Benjamin M. McAllister of Winterville has been named as a Dean's Scholar at Piedmont College for academic achievement during the recent summer semester.

Dean's Scholar students earned a 4.0 GPA for the semester.

Piedmont College is an independent liberal arts college of about 2,600 students with campuses located in Demorest and Athens, Ga. Founded in 1897, the college offers undergraduate degrees in 50 major areas and graduate degrees in education and business, including doctoral degrees in education.
