Coffey earns Piedmont College degree

Shelby K. Coffey of Athens was among the 135 students receiving degrees from Piedmont College at the recent December Commencement ceremonies in Demorest, Ga. Coffey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in early childhood education.

Piedmont College is an independent liberal arts college of about 2,300 students with campuses located in Demorest and Athens, Ga. Founded in 1897, the college offers undergraduate degrees in more than 50 major areas, master's degrees in business, education and nursing, and doctoral degrees in education.
