Elizabeth Tyson earns Piedmont College academic honor

Elizabeth A. Tyson of Villa Rica has been named a Dean's Scholar at Piedmont College after completing the recent fall semester with a perfect 4.0 grade-point-average.

Piedmont College is an independent liberal arts college of about 2,300 students with campuses located in Demorest and Athens, Ga. Founded in 1897, Piedmont offers undergraduate degrees in 50 major area; master's degrees in education, business, and nursing; and doctoral degrees in education.
