Tammy L. Melton earns Piedmont College degree

Tammy L. Melton of Lavonia, Ga., was among the 362 students receiving degrees from Piedmont College at the recent December commencement ceremonies. Melton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Educational Studies.

Piedmont College is an independent liberal arts college of about 2,600 students with campuses located in Demorest and Athens. Founded in 1897, the college offers undergraduate degrees in 50 major areas, master's degrees in education and business, and doctoral degrees in education.
