Piedmont University Media Students Bring Home 15 Pinnacle Awards

Piedmont students involved in Roar Student Media won 15 Pinnacle Awards at the National College Media Conference, held Oct. 30-Nov. 2 in New Orleans. Competing in the Division III classification, which includes colleges and universities with less than 5,000 students, Piedmont students earned a record five first-place Pinnacle Awards, the highest award in college media.

Update: Piedmont Speech and Debate Team National Championship Trip Cancelled

Update: The Piedmont College Speech and Debate Team has cancelled its trip to the 2020 National Speech Championship at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, March 21-22 due to confirmed cases of the Covid-19 virus in northern Virginia. Following impressive performances at two competitions, members of the Piedmont College Speech and Debate Team will compete on the national level later in March and in April.
