The USA South Athletic Conference Championship came down to the final three events on a rainy Friday, but the Piedmont men came out on top, beating host Berea College by 26 points.

Junior, Julia Graham qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Boston earlier this month and finished 9th in the nation! She was 0.03 seconds from finishing 8th, qualifying for the final and being an All-American. This is Piedmont's first ever athlete to compete at the NCAA Championship and she did not disappoint! This isn't an anomaly, this is the start of a regular occurrence for Piedmont Track & Field.

The Piedmont Singers' Spring concert, titled "The Hope of Loving," will be held 7:30 p.m., March 7 in the Piedmont College Chapel.The concert is free, open to the public, and will explore various aspects of love. It will include works by Josu Elberdin, Thomas Tallis, Will Todd, Jake Runestad, William Walton, Johannes Brahms, Vaclovas Augustinas, Rene Clausen, Doris Nelson, and Moses Hogan.

Represented by nine students, The Roar and its editiors won a total of seven awards. Most impressively, the staff earned the "best website" award for www.piedmontroar.com, the first time The Roar has earned that honor.
