Virginia Cleveland is giving a junior level voice recital on March 26, at 5:30 in the Piedmont College Chapel. Virginia is a senior history major at Piedmont, but she has been involved with the Piedmont College Chamber Singers, the Piedmont Chorale, and voice lessons for the last three years.

Piedmont Singers Concert

The Piedmont Singers' Spring concert, titled "The Hope of Loving," will be held 7:30 p.m., March 7 in the Piedmont College Chapel.The concert is free, open to the public, and will explore various aspects of love. It will include works by Josu Elberdin, Thomas Tallis, Will Todd, Jake Runestad, William Walton, Johannes Brahms, Vaclovas Augustinas, Rene Clausen, Doris Nelson, and Moses Hogan.

PC Women's Basketball Wins Third Straight USA South Championship

The Piedmont College women's basketball team defeated Berea, their final opponent in their regular season, 74-67, on Sunday afternoon in the USA South Championship Tournament Final at Cave Arena. They team now heads to the NCAA Tournament.

The Roar ROARS

Piedmont College's student newspaper, The Roar, attended the Georgia College Press Institute last Friday, February 15. Represented by nine students, The Roar and its editiors won a total of seven awards. Most impressively, the staff earned the "best website" award for www.piedmontroar.com, the first time The Roar has earned that honor.

Annual Trunk or Treat

Residential Living and the Campus Activities Board hosted the 4th annual Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 26. The event provided a safe option for trick or treating for the Habersham County Community. Forty groups and organizations helped provide a night of fun for our community members. A total of 418 students and guests attended Trunk or Treat.
