Update: The Piedmont College Speech and Debate Team has cancelled its trip to the 2020 National Speech Championship at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, March 21-22 due to confirmed cases of the Covid-19 virus in northern Virginia. Following impressive performances at two competitions, members of the Piedmont College Speech and Debate Team will compete on the national level later in March and in April.

HARDEEVILLE, S.C.-The Piedmont College women's golf team opened the spring season March 2 with a strong showing at the Pfeiffer Invitational, coming in second as a team after round one.

Alvin Jacobs ran a 1:54.38 in the men's 800m race on March 1 as he competed in the CNU Qualifier & Combined Events in Newport News, Va. Jacobs took first place while teammates Conor Credon and Darius Smith ran in the event as the NCAA National Championships are set to begin in two weeks.

Nearly half of all Piedmont College varsity athletes earned a 3.4 or better grade point average for the fall semester and have been named to the Director of Athletics Honor Roll. In all, 185 student-athletes (49.5 percent) were named to the honor roll, the most in recent memory. Of those, 166 earned a 3.5 grade point average or better and 70 attained a 4.0.

Piedmont College congratulates the 19 students who graduated with honors in the fall. Each graduate earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better. Honor graduates iinclude:
